The folks at Yahoo asked me to try their Mail Beta. I have been hearing about it for some time so I was curious. I was curious but unwilling to go check it out. The beta must be getting close to being over since they invited me. I have been routing all of my personal mail, newsletters, and non-profit email through Yahoo for a long time. It is the bulk of my email. The fact that they do a pretty good job at virus checking and identifying spam has been a big plus. I have a variety of ways of viewing to my Yahoo mail in addition to the web interface. Recently I have been using Desktop Sidebar for browsing and deleting mail. Desktop Sidebar has a couple of limitations that has forced me to go to the web interface so the beta is a good option for me. So far it looks real nice.
