While I was trying to deal with low disk space on my server’s C drive I decided to delete some old programs and webparts. I removed an old Leadit RSS webpart and a little while later I found that my default sharepoint site was broken. The error message complained about needing the Leadit RSS assembly. It took me quite awhile for me to figure out where I needed to delete the reference to the old assembly. It was located in the default.asp which is available via FrontPage 2003.
